Do Exercises in ProVal

In the previous step, you unzipped OPEBTraining22.zip into a folder, e.g., C:\PROVAL\TRAINING. This folder should now contain the following files:

Provaldd.sf	ProVal client (mostly empty, but contains a few field names)
Pvasmp.sf	‘’
Pvout.sf	‘’
Pvvip.sf	‘’
Val2022.xls	Excel file containing 1/1/2022 data for plan conversion exercise
Term Rates.xls	Excel file containing termination rates

Complete the following tasks:

• Open the client using the File | Open Client command.
• If a message appears saying this client “was developed under a previous version of ProVal,” click Yes to update the client.
